HONG KONG – Hong Kong's Center for Health Protection (CHP) reported seven confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, taking its total tally to 11,531.

The new cases included three local infections that were linked with previously confirmed cases. The four imported cases were from India and Pakistan, according to the CHP.

In the past 14 days, 127 cases were recorded, including 29 local cases, of which nine had unknown infection origins, the CHP said.

Hong Kong launched a COVID-19 vaccination program on Feb 26. As of April 5, about 487,000 people had received their first dose of vaccine, and about 90,200 had received their second dose.
