HONG KONG – Singapore's mega indoor theme park operator Kiztopia officially opened its first overseas outlet in Hong Kong on Friday, leveraging the city's strategic location and its strong intellectual property (IP) protection regime to expand in the region.

Located at the largest shopping complex in Sha Tin, the new theme park occupies 12,000 square feet of area. 

It features 15 play experience areas, including two-storey-high slides, huge ball pits, creative role play rooms, multiple challenging obstacle courses, trampolines and more, to provide a fun and wholesome family bonding experience to families and kids.

The Hong Kong market has a great impact on nearby markets and our success in the city would facilitate the expansion in nearby markets.

The Hong Kong company is not only responsible for establishing a solid business foundation in the Hong Kong market, but also for business expansion in nearby markets, said Ricky Ng, director of the company. 

“The Hong Kong market has a great impact on nearby markets and our success in the city would facilitate the expansion in nearby markets," he said.

Pointing out that Hong Kong has a solid and active market for IP licensors and licensees, he said: “We hope to leverage on local IP businesses targeting kids and families to boost brand awareness in the region."

Welcoming the opening of the Kiztopia theme park in Hong Kong, Charles Ng, associate director-general of Invest Hong Kong, said, “It (the park) brings not only another fun and educational entertainment facility for kids and families, but also adds a new impetus to the city's entertainment industry.”

Kiztopia has opened three outlets in Singapore and successfully launched several offsite events under the brand of Jumptopia. The company is expanding its footprint into various fields, like hotel staycations, kids runs and kids festivals, to provide comprehensive kids edutainment experiences.
