HONG KONG – With the resumption of normal travel between Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland scheduled for Sunday, final preparations are in full swing for smooth operation on both sides of the border. 

Maintenance work was underway at both the Futian checkpoint and the Lok Ma Chau MTR station.
