Hong Kong shares ended lower on Thursday. The Hang Seng Index fell 0.36 percent to 20,793.4 points. The Hong Kong China Enterprises Index dropped 0.28 percent to 7,117.75.

Hong Kong shares edged up, led by tech names after the US central bank raised interest rates by 50 basis points.

The Hang Seng Tech Index climbed 1.7 percent, with Meituan up more than 3 percent.
