Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor delivered a speech, saying that “one country, two systems” is the biggest advantage of the HKSAR government, and that Hong Kong will move to a glorious chapter only by adhering to that principle.

Tan Tieniu, deputy director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR, said that the principal of “one country, two systems” has proven its success after Hong Kong overcame obstacles, including the Asian financial crisis and SARS in past decades.
