When the card user’s total "eligible spending" reaches HK$4,000 between May to October, the remaining amount of HK$1,000 will be disbursed on the 16th day of the following month.

The user’s "eligible spending" has to reach HK$4,000 by the end of October so that he could collect the last voucher by Nov 16.

The latest round of the e-voucher program will last seven months, or two months longer than last year’s, which was valid for five months. It is expected to cost the government about HK$66.4 billion and is projected to boost Hong Kong’s GDP by 1.7 percent.
