HONG KONG – China Daily Hong Kong Edition won eight prizes on Friday, including one top prize and two first runner-ups, across five categories at the 2022 Hong Kong News Awards, one of the city’s most prestigious news awards.
The annual event, organized by the Newspaper Society of Hong Kong, was held to recognize journalists' and new editors' achievements in reporting, writing, photography and design.
Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu also attended the awarding ceremony and delivered a speech.
