HONG KONG – Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po will depart Sunday afternoon for Bali, Indonesia, to attend the Group of Twenty Leaders' Summit, as part of the delegation of the People’s Republic of China.

At the summit, to be held next Tuesday and Wednesday, leaders of the world’s major economies will discuss economic, financial, political and other issues for co-operation, the SAR government said.

The finance chief will return to Hong Kong next Thursday morning. Deputy Financial Secretary Michael Wong will act as financial secretary during Chan's absence.
