HONG KONG – Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose 275.53 points, or 1.43 percent to open at 19,523.49 points on Wednesday.
The Hang Seng Tech Index, which represents the 30 largest technology companies listed in Hong Kong, jumped 3.51 percent during Wednesday's morning trading.
