Chief Justice of the Court of Final Appeal Andrew Cheung Kui-nung will lead a Judiciary delegation to visit cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, namely Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhuhai, for three days starting from Monday.

This visit forms part of the ongoing exchanges between the Judiciary and the mainland courts, according to a statement issued by the Judiciary on Sunday.

The delegation will meet with Vice-President of the Supreme People's Court Yang Wanming, visit court facilities in these cities, attend forums and have professional exchanges with the mainland judges and judicial staff on court operation matters and other judicial issues. 

This visit forms part of the ongoing exchanges between the Judiciary and the mainland courts, according to a statement issued by the Judiciary on Sunday.

Members of the delegation include Chief Justice of the Court of Final Appeal Andrew Cheung Kui-nung; Chief Judge of the High Court Justice Jeremy Poon; Justice of Appeal of the Court of Appeal of the High Court Justice Godfrey Lam; Judges of the Court of First Instance of the High Court Justice Anthony Chan and Justice David Lok; and the Judiciary Administrator Esther Leung.

The delegation will return to Hong Kong on the afternoon of March 22. During Chief Justice Cheung's absence from Hong Kong, Permanent Judge of the Court of Final Appeal Justice Roberto Alexandre Vieira Ribeiro will be the acting chief justice of the Court of Final Appeal.
