HONG KONG – Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu will lead a delegation to Macao on Thursday for his first visit to the special administrative region since the full resumption of normal travel.

During his visit, Lee will meet Macao Chief Executive Ho Iat-seng.

Members of the delegation include Deputy Chief Secretary Cheuk Wing-hing, Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Kevin Yeung, Secretary for Transport and Logistics Lam Sai-hung and Director of the Chief Executive's Office Carol Yip, according to a government press release.

The CE will return to Hong Kong in the afternoon the same day. During his absence, Chief Secretary Chan Kwok-ki will be Acting Chief Executive.

Ho Iat-seng visited Hong Kong last week with a Macao delegation.

On Saturday, Lee met the Macao CE at Government House to exchange views on promoting Hong Kong's cooperation with Macao and high-quality development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
