HONG KONG – A rally for Hong Kong chief executive candidate John Lee Ka-chiu was held on Friday ahead of Sunday’s poll.

Political and business heavyweights, including Election Committee members, gathered at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre at 4 pm in show of support for Lee.

The Sixth Term Chief Executive Election is the first chief executive election to be held under the improved electoral system. The polling hours are from 9 am to 11:30 am.
