Local gourmands will have a gourmet’s luck to taste plenty of delicious, exquisite French delicacies and beverages over the coming two weekends, as a French traditional gourmet market kicked off Thursday in Hong Kong.

The gourmet market is one of the activities of this year’s French May Arts Festival, aiming to facilitate arts and cultural exchange between the Asian city and the European country. In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the festival, the organizer had “Bubble up” as the theme for the market, with the wish to “bubble up” the joy of festivity through France’s famous sparkling wine.

The market will run from May 11-14 at Central Market, and at Nina Mall I from June 1-4.
