Hong Kong’s cultural stage received a boost on Tuesday when Bauhinia Culture Group Corp Ltd released a list of its major film and TV programs for 2023 at a news briefing in the city.

The top managers of Bauhinia Culture Group and Sil-Metropole Organization introduced a schedule of its major films, TV dramas and documentaries. 

Listed among them are films and TV programs co-produced by Hong Kong and Chinese mainland companies, especially those with Greater Bay Area partners. One major release will focus on the hardships and heroism of the Hong Kong Police Force.

In addition, the Western China Film Show 2023 was unveiled at the University of Hong Kong on Tuesday evening.

David Ding Kai, general manager of Sil-Metropole Organization, told the launch ceremony that 15 films produced by Western Movie Group based in Xi'an and Shaanxi Culture Industry Investment Holdings (Group) will be showing at three theaters in Hong Kong until March 26.
