HONG KONG – Seven COVID-19 cases were found in the compulsory testing exercises for the restricted areas in Tsuen Wan and Sham Shui Po, the Hong Kong government said on Tuesday.

The government made restriction-testing declarations on Monday to cover Shek Tsui House of Shek Wai Kok Estate in Tsuen Wan and Un Shing House of Un Chau Estate in Sham Shui Po.

At Shek Tsui House, 1,860 people took the virus testing and six of them tested positive.

One positive COVID-19 case was detected at Un Shing House after 1,907 people were tested.
